Outline of Treatment approach:

I practice cognitive behaviour therapy when treating anxiety and depression. This is a practical, collaborative approach, which aims to alleviate difficulties within relatively few sessions. People are taught the necessary strategies so that they will be able to maintain the gains achieved in therapy.

I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the past 13 years in the areas of mental health, psychological assessment and more recently, stress management in corporate settings. Throughout my career as a Psychologist, I have treated people with serious mental illness as well as general psychological problems of a more common nature.
