I am a registered psychologist and an Associate member of the Australian Psychological Society. I have a Bachelor of Art degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Swinburne University.
I have had extensive experience working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, phobias, grief and loss, stress and post traumatic stres disorder, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, marriage and family problems, conflict between children/adolescents and parents, sexual dysfunctionality.
I use many different counselling techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I take a client-centred approach which focuses on each client’s individual needs.
I am a bilingual psychologist (Turkish and English) and working with men, women, couples, children and adolescents, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in a professional, non-judgemental and sensitive manner.
I am one of the psychologists at the Centre for Psychological and Relationship Counselling and registered with major health insurers, WorkCover, TAC, and Victim Support Agency.
